Teddy was a German Shepherd and Labrador Retriever mix. He stood over 6'4" on his hind legs and he weighed over 145 lbs. Looking more Shepherd than Lab and having all the colours and markings of a Shepherd, many breeders brought their certified females to be mated with him despite the fact that he was not a pure bred. Teddy was a wonderful house pet and extremely intelligent ~ he was also very gentle with children. One of my fondest memories was the boys and him playing in his dog house. All you would hear from the dog house were squeals of laughter and Teddy just loved the attention. I do not currently have a picture of him but my sister has promised to give me one as she has several ~ I am still waiting. In the mean time this is a sketch I drew of him.
